Icon Wars

Howdy folks. I installed The Macromedia Suite which includes Fireworks, Freehand, Flash and Dreamweaver. Of which I love Flash and I use Dreamweaver from time to time. Anyway, Fireworks changed all my JPG, GIF and PNG associations and icons to Fireworks own icons and associations. So I changed the associates for these files types in Explorer back to Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, but the icons are still the Fireworks icon, this did not change. There is no place to change the icon inside its properties window and I can’t find any option inside Fireworks to alter File Types or Associations of any kind. Thank you so much for your help. : )
