Maya UV Mapping Question

Maybe someone out there is an experienced Maya user. I have a single mesh that has my character's head and helmet together. I mapped out the UV's (on frame 45 of my animation) just how I want them, but as soon as I move to a different frame the UV's go crazy. Below is how the mapping appears on frame 45 and it randomly changes for any other frame. Any suggestions are appreciated.
