Biostar M7NCD pro

Please someone who has that board tell me whar CD-RW and DVD-Rom is using.I have extreem problems with mine Biostar.It is unable to operate with any kind of CD or DVD machine:(I have tried NEC SONY and LG.With the Sony i recieved message-" I/O problem" and i could not browse any CD or burn one.With the LG i can copy from CD to the HDD but when i try to burn a CD it says the burning has been completed succesfully.Then when i try to copy or even open what i have recorded my PC freezes.I tryed to open these disks on other computers but they freezed to.So i suppose the discs have been damaged.Please tell me what recorders are you using....
P.S.This question is only to those of you who have the same M7NCD pro board as mine:)

    Are the HD & CD-Rom on the same IDE Cable (Optimally they should be on different ports/cables)

    Have you tried replacing the CD-Roms IDE Cable (Just a thought)

    Try switching the HDs & CD-ROms IDE Port, you might have a bad IDE port
