New watercooling setup in the works

Hey guys, ive become fedup with my current setup.... so i've started modding my **** :D

Ive added a HS to my south bridge on my board, seemed to stop the sound distortion after hours of playing... I made it out of a retail AXP heatsink , i pwned it with my dremel with a few cutters.

I've also bought a dtek Pro radiator, and 2 120mm 85CFM fans, and created a shroud out of a shoe box and **** loads of masking tape...

I used zip ties and straws to keep the fans in place, it actually worked out great ... i got the idea from Hpr

To get it to fit i had to cut out some things in my case, most noticibly the 3 3 and 1/4 drive bay holder at the bottom of the lian.

Im so stoked about this... i know its gonna pwn the living hell out of my current config... I bought a bay res (which will be here tomorrow) and im gonna install everything tomorrow as well. So i'll let you guys know how it all turns out, and what my temps / clock is

    Looking GREAT!

Im just curious of one thing. That res looks darn good and all, but MIGHT be counterproductive where you have it mounted right now. If that is a harddrive over it, i´m almost certain that heat from the harddrive heats up that res. I know the radiator is after but the colder water you can feed the radiator, the better temps.

Would it be possible to just let that reservoir hanging in the middle of the case just to test my theory?

    GREAT JOB!

BTW, what tubing are you using? It looks "fat" and nice!

Its silicon tubing, really flexible... i dont think danger den sells it anymore.

It may be possible, but im tired as hell, and i have a lan party from tomorrow to sunday (quakecon) then i start school monday... so it might be a while till i get to mess with it again. But yeah that is what i was thinking, but i have no other place to put it... i have 3 HDs and 2 cdroms... I should probably get an external USB enclosure for one of my drives :) That is [probably what i'll do
