Microsoft will appeal $521m jury decision

Microsoft has said it plans to appeal the Chicago jurys decision that it should pay $512m to Eolas for alleged patent violations. Microsoft also made the point of reminding people that the award amount was substantially less than the $1.2b that the accusing company Eolas originally sought.
