hi i really need some help guys, i am building a pc for a guy i know i purchased a upgrade kit which included a 2400 amd sempron proccesor a abit va10 motherboard a fan and heat sink a case and psu and 256 ddr ram.
it came assembled and apparently tested?
so all i had to do was fit this guys hard drive and floppy and dvd/cd rom and writer, and install windows xp pro.
this i did.
but everytime i try to install xp pro it gets halfway through and i get the blue screen of death.
ive tried everything i can think of but still it wont load ?
im seriously thinking of chucking the va10 and getting a asrock board, the asrock in my own pc has been ok.
can anyone help?
cheers
johnny.

its ok i fixed it a few days ago, it was a bad memory module, i took the memory from my own pc and swapped it completely for the one on the abit board and it worked fine after that.
just goes to show bad memory can cause lots of probs.
thanks anyway its a pity you were the only one who bothered to try and help me when i was struggling, oh well.
    cheers
    john.
