Windows Media Player 9 not responding?

I went to play some videos on my computer today, and all of a sudden it won't play. It'll play sound but not audio, and the counter doesn't move after the first one second.

WTF?

Could have gotten a bad file from Kazaa, but I'm not sure.

I re-downloaded WMP9 from Microsoft and that didn't fix it. Time to run through the antispyware programs.

I fixed it. Did a System Restore to 2 days ago. I don't know what it was.

I meant to say it'll play sound but not VIDEO.

I've been waiting to download WMP10 until the bugs are known and worked out. I heard it has some problems.

All my webshows play on 9, so there's no big rush for me.

I've been using WMP10 for a couple months now, no problems, its a great player, if you're used to WMP9 then the interface is a bit of a change, but once you get used to it, its great.
