PC Chips M925HLU... Help!!

edited December 2004 in Hardware
Hello everyone,

I need some help with my motherboard, this is what i have:

Motherboard: PC Chips M925HLU
Chipset: VIA P4M266A Northbridge, VT8235 Southbridge
Onboard Graphics: S3 ProSavage DDR Driver 6.14.10.25

The problem is that I have been trying to install a video card (PC Chips) in the AGP slot, but it is not recognized by the mother board, and of course I cant use it. I was wondering if there is a ping I should conect (or disconect) to make it work.

Can anybody help me please?

PS. Sorry about my poor english. :)

    sound card in the AGP slot??

    AGP=Accelerated Graphics Port

    it's not for a sound card, the sound card should go to the PCI slot

    what do u mean by not recognized by your motherboard??

    did u disable the onboard video??

    The video card in the AGP slot is not detected by windows (nor the setup menu of the bios). I have been trying disable the onboard video, but I cant. I am doing something wrong... but I dont know what!! :(

    There is no information on how to disable it in the manual or in PC Chips support page.
