Attached to this thread by someone.

I'm a few miles away from home at a friend's house who freaked out, dorked up, and disabled the RPC service and rebooted. The RPC service is concordantly linked to a majority of other services which include the ability to open menus to start services again, load explorer.exe in a timely manner, paste copied items, start norton antivirus services, etc.

So I need these reg keys attached from a system with RPC installed and enabled:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\RpcSs (All subdirectories included please)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\RpcLocator
(All subdirectories included please)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_RPCLOCATOR
(All subdirectories included please)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_RPCSS
(All subdirectories included please)

Thank you in advance.

    I spoke too soon.

I checked a few settings about services that WERE running and on autostartup, most noticeably the numbers 2 and 32 were "Start type" and some other value.

Cloned those settings in RPCSS and RPCLocator, reboot...Bam. Thrax wins.
