Problem with ZoneAlarm

I've got ZoneAlarm 5.1 with the 5.5 upgrade. It seems to work pretty good, but every now and then it will not allow me to access certain websites or the internet at all. If I disable ZoneAlarm I can then go right to the sites or the internet.

What is the problem that causes this, and how can I fix it? I have my settings in ZoneAlarm set fairly high, and in learning mode for the internet.

Check if the firewall has a whitelist. Add the site to that.

What Black Hawk said will likely solve your problem. :)

One other thing to check (if applicable): Do you have the SP2 Firewall enabled? That could be messing things up.

Yes, it has SP2 installed with the firewall on, but it still did it when I only had SP1. I'll look around in there for a whitelist.
