Temperature monitor for Windows

edited December 2004 in Hardware
I'm trying to search for a program that measures your CPU's temperature while you're in Windows. Nothing advanced...just something simple and that'll probably hang out in systray (the bottom right tray). Any suggestions? Preference to freeware and free OF ware, such as spyware.

Motherboard Monitor comes to mind. I think it can even be found on short-media's download page, if not you can always google.

its been discontinued so it may not support as new a chipset as he is running. Doesnt gigabyte offer their own program to monitor the temps? I always used to use Motherboard Monitor but my opteron and amd64 systems all run software from MSI and ASUS for example that monitor the temps.

Hmm, good call. I checked out the software that came with the mobo and it does have something. Not as simple as I'd like (I just wanted something to sit in systray and let me mouse over it and it'd tell me the temp, but this works).

    Thanks again.
