Just changing the server on mIRC and couldn't think of anything to change to clear what I was on so I tried to connect to my own. Forgot it wasn't running, started it and connected a few seconds later. To my amazement it said there were 35 people logged on... so I thought.... er.. bug? did a /list and noticed an extra channel named #superst4rs. Joined it and there are what appear to be 32 bots in there (most of them with different hosts, all with random caps characters for the name). Question is..... why? I mean what is the point. No-one uses the server for a start, and second, these are coming from multiple hosts... or at least proxies...

So yeah, anyone seen something like this before and am I right in thinking they are just bots? But the question lies, why the hell are they all in one room that they made themselves?

    I would say come and have a look (irc.atomnet.co.uk #superst4rs) but they all just kind of... bailed a few minutes ago so no idea what that was all about, but still, any input is appreciated.
