I see a lot of people are having a problem with home search, makes me feel a little better. I have tried search and destroy and also www.hsremove.com and have had no luck. below is my hijack log, much thanks to anyone willing to help!

Fix those entries then boot into Safe Mode, and find and delete the folder "NEWDOTNET". Then boot back into normal mode, and post a new log.

Hi there and thanks for helping. I deleted those things from hijack this, but when i booted in safe mode and try to delete newdotnet it would not let me. it said to make sure that the disk was not write protected or that it was not in use. here is my new log. and again thanks!

Fix those entries then find and delete the files listed above along with this one: C:\WINDOWS\msct.exe then pull the plug on your computer and post a new log.

Do not reboot normally or use Internet Explorer (use Firefox instead) until I say your log is okay.

I went to fix, but i could not manually find the files, i also deleted the only msct on my computer, but when i ran a search after the reboot the same file is there again. there is no exact msct.exe. there are several files similar such as: msctf.dll, msctfp.dll and the one that says msct.exe says: msct.exe-03886E2B.pf If this isnt gone yet how do i find just msct.exe? Again thanks for the help!

msct.exe is actually this .pf file. msct.exe-03886E2B.pf Delete that and do the same with the other files.

Alright, i tried again, i can't delete the msct file. i deleted the file, pulled the plug, ran a search and it is there again. how do i get rid of this thing? here is my hijack log again.
