Pop upstopper

I was just wondering what is a credible and reliable website for a pop up stopper. I've tried a few but dont seem to give a great coverage for pop- ups. If anyone knows any good ones let me know. Thanks.

Mozilla Firefox has a good built in popup stopper. I don't know of any good ones for IE or anything else for that matter.

Windows XP SP2 comes with a built in popup blocker. SP2 is great, and has much fewer "security holes", except for the fact that Microsoft uses it to "Spy" on your Internet activities.

I tried the popup stopper in SP2, but it was not nearly as good as Freesurfer MKII.

They'll try and sell you the FreeSurfer Companion, but there is a free version available which should satisfy most people's popup stopper needs.

if your having problems with popups then most likely you've got a infestation of spyware.. just visits the SVT section of this forum and follow the directions on how to rid your computer of that nasty crapware scum

And on the original topic, I love Mozilla Firefox! I only use Explorer for MS Updates.

A good popup stopper for IE is made by Panicware. www.panicware.com

well...actually...the best pop-up stopper for IE is Googl's Toolbar. I've had it for a few months and they get blocked. Also, you'll know when a pop-up has been blocked.
