Help with web hyjacking.

Morning all. I am new to here, but have been reading some of the great advice posted here and in other areas of this forum. Before i post my hyjackthis log, i will go over my problem.

Around 1 1/2 months ago, i started to get random sites popping open new browser windows. 1 sex site related, the other more of an adds site. Right after that, i ran adaware. All it was finding was cookies (which i usually delete after 2-3 days). Not seeing what i could do, i asked several acquatences, who directed me to getting spybot search and destroy, which found several 'infections' (one being some program called OETE.EXE). Even deleting them did not stop it. Going through the registry i got rid of everything i could. Was told by those same friends to also switch browsers, so got Mozilla's firefox.

I have been running with that since then, and have been doing an Ad/S&D scan roughly every day, sometimes every other day. I update them weekly, and also keep my norton firewall and antivirus updated fortnightly. Mid last week, i started getting those browser pop-ups again. I still have not figured out what i got, and even booting in safe mode and running S&D did not find anything.

Looking at my log, there is not much there i don't recognize.... those few i do not are 'bolded'. Are these part of the problem?

    Fixed the enteries, but could not locate any files listed (even with folder options placed to show hidden. Rebooted. Here is the new log.

    Also, when i was 'fixing' those line items i got a error message..

    Fix that entry and you should be all set. Are you still having any problems?

    Deleted. The problems have been sporadic with firefox, but when i was using IE, they came in practically every day i was online. I will have to give it a few days of use to see if it is fully fixed. BUT thanks anyway.
