strange(wondered about this for a long time)

on the abit nf7-s mobo, my 5.1 surround is connected to the three ports circled in blue, and i always wondered about what the other two are for.

    pg 2-23 in the user manual

    the one closer to the board is the sub

    the other one is the rear speakers

    Pink is mic.
    Green/blue is for front left/right.
    Black/yellow is for sub/center.

    what i have right now it's connected to the pink, green and blue, so can i plug it in green and yellow and black?? and still have 5.1?? and then get to keep my line in and mic ports free??

    These aren't one-channel outputs are they...??
    I thought the 5 minijacks were Front (stereo l/r), Rear (stereo l/r), Center&Sub (one on "left" one on "right"), Line In (stereo l/r), and Mic (mono).

    sweet, it worked, connected to the green, black and yellow jacks, and it works.

    now i can buy a TV tuner card, haha
