Pop-Up and Spyware removal

Thanks for all of the help so far! I think we're close to having a clean system again. Just a couple of pop-ups at start up time.

Crunchie

Download the PeperFix.exe tool from here:

http://downloads.subratam.org/PeperFix.exe

Click on the PeperFix.exe to launch it.

Click the Find and Fix button.

It will scan the %Systemroot% folder and locate all the peper files. You will be prompted to reboot. Reboot and it will delete the peper files.
Ensure that you are online before starting the fix. Make sure to run the fix twice.

Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows, and hit the "Fix checked" button.

I've been free of pop-up's all day! Any advice on staying clean... short of staying off of the internet all together?

P.S. Please disregard the more recent posts (dagjr). They were sent inbetween repair attempts as a new thread by accident. Is there a way to delete a thread?
