how do i reset my master boot records

basiclly pc crashed on raid partioned
c drive 12gig data 300 +
reinstalled c drive with ghost but when rebotted my data drive gone
c drive now the total size
ive heard you gotta reset mbr ,what do i need and how
thanx for your time inlookng

    I'm not following can you detail exactly ALL the drives and partitions on your drive before we start?

    2 x 160 gig hdd on raid
    c drive 12 gig
    d drive was rest 295 roughly
    now when ghosted back from the only workin image i have it shows my cdrive the full size of complete drive no partion all my data music kids photos ect on data

    go into the windows xp repair console (from the cd, press R at the main screen)
    and type
    fixmbr <enter>
    fixboot <enter>
