Help

edited December 2004 in Hardware
I recently upgraded to win xp 64-bit but because there doesn´t seem to be any drivers that work to make my sound work I would like to uninstall it and return to 32-bit xp.

BIG question HOW?

I´ve tried to boot with the 32-bit CD in the optical drive only thing that happens is when the text "to boot from CD press any key" and I press a key the text returns and so on (just repeats everything).

I haven´t found any bootdisks for the 64-bit xp edition (beta).

So what can I do.

My system:

Asrock k8 upgrade 760-gx
AMD 64 3000+
512 RAM
Maxtor .... 200gig
Radeon 9250SE 128 mb

    Sorry no one responded before...

Is your CD drive set as the master on whichever IDE channel it's on? Some systems won't boot from a slave drive. You could also set the cd drive as first boot device and set all the other boot options to "None".

    Hope this helps. :)
