SCO Revenue Drops 99%

edited December 2004 in Science & Tech
Turns out that SCO's tatics of suing everybody in existance are continuing to backfire as their revenue from licensing agreements has dropped from just over $10 Million from the same time last year to around $120,000 this quarter; a loss of 99% in revenue dollars.
Software outfit SCO said it made a loss of $6.5 million, with revenues falling 60% to $10.1 million. But its licensing revenues fell down the elevator shaft or the toilet - take your pick. In the same period last year its revenues from SCO were $10.3 million.

That's what you get for claiming that you own an open source patent.

Forget that... That's what you get for losing your focus and not trying to make money the honest way - by marketing a valid product. Instead, this asswipe administration decided they could litigate their way to the bank. Screw them, they got what they deserved. It's idiots like them that are responsible for this litigous society that we live in.
