Specs:
Epox 8K3A+, WD HD, Cheapo PCI video card, brand spankin' new Kingston hyperx 512MB PC2700, Powmax 500w aluminum PS.

I have the HSF plugged in to the board. all the cables look fine and I can't see anything wrong with the board. When I turn it on the HSF fan comes on, the PSU fan comes on and the HD spins. But I get nothing from the LED post codes. It just stays off. Also the monitor is blank. Any ideas? I am thinking it is the Motherboard but should I check something else? the motherboard did work before I put it to storage, and now I am trying to get it going again.

Those are symptoms exhibited by my k7s5a and 8RDA+ when the CPU in them died.

Also, that board was manufactured during the age of bad capacitors too. Check all the big caps on the board for swelling or leaking on the top or bottom of them.
