Ads 234 for an inexperienced user

I was looking at the previous threads for individuals that seemed pretty experienced with computers. I am very competent when it comes to computers but am a little scared of some of the options to get rid of ads 234. But I need help!!!

Please advise what I should do to eliminate this nasty program. If you could provide a step by step I would appreciate it.

I went to the site to download hijack this and it indicated it was for a more experienced user. While experienced I believe they were speaking about someone with more information resources experience.
