History/address bar

You know how when you are in explorer and start typing a letter into the address bar and your previous choices for web pages come up below..... How do you erase those webpages?.... (i have an older computer i bought from someone and all his webpages are there, and i always accendentally pick them all the time) Any help will be greatly appreciated

    For the auto-complete, click on the little button to the right of the address bar and open the whole list. Then, using your up and/or down arrows on the keyboard (Don't try clicking it with your mouse) highlight the one you want to get rid of and press the "Delete" key. Repeat until you have removed all the ones you don't want.

    For the History items it would be easiest to just go into Control Panel>>Internet Options and clear the whole works in one shot.

    clearing your history also clears all of the webpage autocomplete entries, according to Internet explorer's "autocomplete" settings page.
