Removing unneeded processes in Windows 2000 Pro?

I just switched my Dell Latitude CPi-A 366XT laptop from XP Home to 2000 Pro, and it runs much better, faster, and smoother. I have something like 22 processes running compared to 29 in XP Home, with all my usual antivirus software running.
I wonder if there are any processes I can remove to make it run even better.
All I really use the laptop for is internet use on occassion. And playing some WMP 9 videos once in a while. No need for Word or office type programs.
Disk space isn't a big deal, I'm just looking to improve the speed. With a big 366 Mhz Pentium 2 and 192 MB memory, it needs all the help it can get.
