Problem with Home Search Assistant
Hello,
I have just recently acquired the HSA/Search Extender/ Shopping Wizard problem in my computer and it makes me physically ill. I use two net browsers, so the problem is only with IE (I also have Mozilla). I've been running Ad-aware, Spybot, Add/Remove all day and managed to get rid of a lot of the extra programs given to me, and even managed to delete HSA. However, when I tried to open IE, I got the about: blank page and two Trojan alerts from my McAffee (I get two every time I use IE). HSA/SE/SW was given back to me.
This website has shown me there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I have obtained a Hijack This log, and I would be eternally grateful if I can get some support on what needs to be removed (I will be using the steps outlined in the HSA removal guide found on this website). Oh, and I am on Windows Xp, just in case.
