Recycle Bin & right-clicking problems...

Why can't I right click on files, shortcuts, and folders to rename, delete, copy, or paste? It shows an error "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem..." I also can't see the contents of my Recycle Bin. I've read other posts on this forum regarding the spywares and I've tried using the scanners and spyware removers such as HijackThis, Spybot, CWShredder, HSRemove, etc. but the problem still remains. In fact I downloaded all Short-Media offered and ran each of them. Spybot does a great job cleaning up traces of spywares but there are some, according to it, that it cannot remove because it resides in the memory. It attempts again after a restart and then shows me the same message (to restart again because it cannot be removed due to the fact that it's in the memory.) Other than that, the others can't detect anything else.

As for HJT, here's my log:

The only thing I see wrong with your log is viewpoint.

    O3 - Toolbar: Viewpoint Toolbar - {F8AD5AA5-D966-4667-9DAF-2561D68B2012} - C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Toolbar\ViewBar.dll
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe

Fix those entries then find and delete the folder "Viewpoint". Maybe a file is corrupted on your computer.

Thanks, SpywareShooter! I uninstalled Viewpoint and ran HJT again. It no longer showed up but when I checked my Program Files folder, I can still see Viewpoint there. When I tried to delete the folder by right clicking and by pressing the 'Del' key on my keyboard, the same Windows error comes out. Instantly, my Windows Explorer closes too. Sometimes, when I right click to delete or rename in the Start > Programs menu, the QuickLaunch bar on my task disappears with it after the error. BTW, I still can't see my deleted files in the Recycle Bin. Here's my log again if it helps:

Thanks a lot in advance! I'm really stressing over this because I just bought this laptop 4 days ago and I've had a problem with DirectX 9.0c (crashes every multiplayer game I play). Luckily I found DirectX Eradicator which allowed me to rollback to 9.0b. Now, I've got this problem. *sigh* :bawling: :bawling: Seems neverending and I'm too tired of reformatting (the lazy way of "fixing"). :o :o Hope everyone has a Happy New Year! (....including me...)
