Well how should I flash this board?

1) From windows

2) From a bootable dos disk

3) There is a key combo at bootup.
I believe it is ALT+F2.
What does this combo do?

Which method should I choose?

I dare to update my bios now, that I have my new PSU.

Alt-F2 seems to do the same thing as using the boot disk for me (i tried it on a non NF7-s)

Alt-F2 can mess up the flash if the BIOS needs to use a newer "flasher" application. These BIOSes try (but cant) updating this section of the bios, making the system unstable.

I tried this, and I had a world of problems until I re-flashed with a boot disk.

    I have flashed now.
    No problems.
I was very nervous, it was my first flash in two years.
And my first flash on my new motherboard. :eek3:
I had heard many awful stories about flashing on the nForce boards.

I booted on a disk and then I ran the update from my harddrive.
I have an old 10GB IBM that is formatted in FAT32.
As I said all went fine.
I flashed to bios version 18, the most recent official release.
