The MSI if any but, a little more info is needed here. What CPU specifically? I am assuming that you are just looking at a 64 and not an FX, right? What are you going to be doing with the system? Do you plan to OC? What is your budget? Let's get some of that out here before you go off the deep end. As for the vid card, depending on the board, you will have a lot of different options on that. You definately came to the right place though!

I will be going with the AMD3200+ s939 64bit winchester core 90nm. Mine is for gaming..... overclocking maybe a little, just to try my hand at it. My main concern is stability. I want to put my money in good quality ram and a good graphics card. I have about $1500 to spend. I talked to Torso and his needs are about the same, though he might have a little more cash to spend.....

Gnome's advice about the Gigabyte mobos is pretty good. It seems like most of the consumer level boards Gigabyte has come out with in the last few years have issues of 1 type or another. Here's another vote for the MSI board.

Also, I would recommend the Antec over the Enermax psu too. Better build quality IMO. I have the TrueControl 550 and it's rock solid and I used to have an Enermax 651P-VE 550 watt psu, which bit the big one a couple of months ago and took the mobo out with it too.

Well my mind is made up. I have heard so much about the MSI K8N neo2 Platinum from almost everyone in this forum. That is the way I will go. Sorry to hear about the Enermax power supply that gave you grief. I just bought a EG475P-Ve Enermax for the new system. I was told Antec and Enermax are both very good power supplies. The Enermax cost a little more and I have been running one in my present system for 3 years with no problems. Now that my mind is made up on the motherboard I can start reading about the different kinds of ram that I should use with it...Thanks all for the input

The MSI K8N Neo4 (NF4 Ultra PCIe) is also shaping up to be killer!
