Keep Recieving blank email messages

Hi guys,

I get approximately 3-6 "blank" email messages per day now. I'm using Outlook 03 with all the appropriate patches installed. OL03 dumps them in my JUNK mail folder everytime, so no problems there. I then go about blocking the blank address. At least they appear blank, but my year-long indoctrination into the spyware removal business has made me quite the cynic when it comes to the internet in general.

If these were truely blank emails, wouldn't Outlook prompt me that it wasn't a valid e-mail address, as I attempted to block it?

Something smells fishy here, was wondering if any of my fellow S-M'ers had any of the same experiences with said blank emails.

    Yep. I get them as well. I just delete them. Anti-virus doesn't pick up any nasties, so just delete them along with the rest of the crap you receive :)

    Take a look at the headers, that is what Outlook will be reading. Probably has a legit email address in the header :)
