Cable stopped working for ONE PC

my cable on the made pc just stopped working. I downloaded the lan driver, unplugged router and modem, resetted router and it still doesnt work. It shows under status the Ip, subnet mask, but not the gateway. it shows the sending part but nothing is received.

need some help. Thanks.

    I remember seeing a virus that was doing this very strange.
    try reinstalling the nic driver if you get a blue screen of death like i did. then you somehow got that virus. (It found its was onto my buddys machine @ lanamainia 4.)
    to fix this disable the nic card in the bios boot into windows to let it think its been pulled out then reboot, enable it and windows will reinstall the driver.

    Is your IP address on that comuter randomly assigned from your router, or is it set? try start-->run-->cmd-->ipconfig /all

    do you have dns servers there?
