TCP Tracker Port Reserved

Azureus keeps giving me this error. I'm not sure what exactly it's for, but it must be pretty general. The only times this happens is when my brother (-.102) happens to be playing an online game (usually CoD ... constantly ... dunno how he doesn't get bored of it). So, is this slowing down my transfers? Should I tell it to use a different port, or isn't it that critical? Everything usually transfers, but I'm not sure if it could be slowing me down or not...

Well from what I've googled, it has something to do with port forwarding I think. Try using a different port or something. In the meanwhile, you could try another BT client till you get that fixed.

Hm. The thing is, I don't see anywhere in the router that specifically states 6969, though I could probably change it. There's something else, though. It just came up saying 6969 was reserved by -.102 (my brother's computer). The thing is ... he's gone. His computer is not even within 10 miles of here  This has me worried now, like the router's borking...

Try changing the ports the program uses.

Would resetting the router help at all? At least to erase the existance of the computer that is no longer connected to your network?

Nope. For some reason I stumbled on it (I didn't a lot of experimenting / stupid things with my router tonight). If you right click the Internet Connection (not your adapter) and do Properties, you get UPnP settings. They were all reserved to .101 or .102. That MAY have been my brother's work (as it might be grabbing those from the router) or it might've been my old IP when I first connected. Either way I changed it to my IP, and it works great :)

    Thanks for your ideas, guys.
