HSA hijack help needed

I tried to use the HSA removal guide and it still didn't work. My last resort was to go back and do a system restore to 2 weeks before the HSA took over. However, due to shutting off the system restore function, all previous restores were reset. I think I read in a previous post to NOT post the Start up processes do to waste of bandwidth on the site. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, any and all help is greatly appreciated. Here is the most recent log:

    That is not a startup list, but running processes that you excluded. The startuplist is a completely different logfile. As long as you are using 1.99.0 you don't need to post the running processes list if you dont want to.

    well, i followed the same rules until I came up with this. it worked until i rebooted this last time and when i went and checked IE, it the default page was set back to about:blank. I can't figure it out. I even ran HS Remove.exe. Here is the latest log #8. YES, 8 times i've run Hijack THis.

    You will need to change your homepage back to what it was originally manually. HijackThis does not do it for you. Until then, it will show up as about:blank.

    Download Deldomains.inf. Once it is saved on your computer, right click the file and select "Install", then reboot and post a new log.

    first off, thanks for all of your help shooter. i knew that HijackThis wouldn't reset my homepage. After resetting it manually and then rebooting, it still failed to save the link that i defaulted. Before opening IE, I would only right click on the properties to view the homepage default. about:blank was the name that was displayed while under the hijack from HSA. After rebooting this last time and installing DelDomains.inf, it came back to about:blank once more, but this time it was actually just the blank page.

    Can I ask what exactly that .inf file was that I downloaded? Here is my latest log

    Fix those entries (don't delete any files) and you should be all set. Are you still having any problems?

    The .inf file contains code that deletes the key from the registry of your computer that stores the Trusted Sites and Restricted Sites zone, clearing the O15 entries, then recreates the key. It is the only way to remove the O15 entries that are caused by HSA.

    no, things don't seem to be fixed. now it seems that I am being attacked by a site named "Search the web!" i give you an order of things that happened:

    1. Fixed those last entries above and did not delete any files.
    2. Did a hard reboot.
    3. Right clicked on IE. Selected properties. Reset homepage to yahoo.
    4. Double clicked on IE. The second you see a flash of the Yahoo page, it immediately goes to "Search the web!".

    I went back in and repeated steps 3 and 4 and the same process happens once again. I just ran another HJT and now I"m doing another virus scan. I ran a full system scan last night and it came up with 29 YES, 29 Trojan Viruses. I can post a log of the virus' if you wish.

    I ran HJT again. From what I can tell, it looks good. Here is the latest log #11.

    Okay, your problem is in your Running Processes, not the part of the log that I looked at.

    Open Task Manager (CTRL ALT DEL) and end task on this item:
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\cmd64.exe

    Then find and delete cmd64.exe, reboot and post a new log.

    i did another search on cmd64 after deleting it. here is the file it came up with

    CMD64.EXE-2E1DA13D.pf in the C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch folder. I have never noticed this folder until now. Anything?

    OK, this should be your problem.

    Fix that entry then find and delete cmd64.exe and internat.dll, reboot and post a new log.
