edited January 2005 in Science & Tech
Hi guys,
Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but ive just bought myself a brand new K8T800 Abit 3rd Eye Socket 939 Motherboard and a Athlon 64 3500+ and i am trying to get Windows XP 64bit working...

Problem: My main windows drive is a SATA drive and i cant get WinXP 64bit to read the SATA drivers...

I tried the latest drivers on your website...
http://www.short-media.com/download.php?d=216

But still recieve an error...
I unzipped them.... put copied the directory onto the floppy disk so that the "txtsetup.oem" was on the main A:\ directory, and the X64 folder was in their too. I load it up like normal, but it comes up with some error...
is there something im missing???

Cheers

Yeah, those are out of date. Here's what you need to do:
Get the latest Hyperion 4-in-1 driver from http://www.viaarena.com for XP-64.
Unzip it to your desktop or wherever, then open it up and go to HyperionPro64-099/VIARaid/DrvDisk .
Copy the complete contents of that folder to a blank floppy disk.

forget the x64 folder, put ALL of the files in the Floppy root directory
