OmegaKiller problem
hi,
i have installed the omegakiller software to get rid of the lop.com search crap that keeps coming up on my PC. the software is good because it got rid of the icons that where on my desktop and everything that wasnt mine in the My Favourites folder.
the software did everything it said it would, but i found that a little while later the icons would appear again on my desktop, and i would have to run omegakiller again to get rid of them but then they would appear again. currently when i use the software i am simply just opening the exe file then clicking on 'GO' and when its finished fixing the problem i 'exit' the software. BUT a few minutes after i have done this the icons will appear again, so i was wondering if anybody knows if i am using the software wrong, or if there is anything else that i can do to sort this out.

but i have already tried using Hijack this, but when it scans my system, i cant seem to find these search programs that are hijacking my browser and desktop. can u give me some advice or guide lines on how to use the software.

There is no real guidelines on how to use OmegakillerSM, other than this article:

Make sure to use the HOSTS block feature to help protect your PC from going to their sites.
You may have a variation in the infection that OmegakillerSM cannot fix, and it may have to be done manually, hence why we would like to see your HJT log.
