help needed with my hjt log

i sorted out my desktop a little while ago (thanks to everyone who helped )now i was wondering if you could help me sort out my laptop. i have run ad-aware in smart scan mode but it gets stuck everytime i run a full system scan

i have also run spybot s&d and quashed everything it found

just runs slow and get alot of pop-ups

any ideas as to why ad-aware cant complete a full system scan?

how beneficial is the 'smart' scan?

Not to insult Lavasoft or anything, they were geniuses to come up with the program, but "smart scan" is actually a "dumb scan". It does not find half of the stuff that the Full System Scan finds. If your problem is the speed of the computer, there are some resource hogs that you may want to fix. Fixing these may increase the speed of your computer.

Fix those entries, but do not delete any files. Reboot after you do that and see if it makes a difference in the speed of the computer. Since you are on XP SP2, I would assume you have a fairly new system, therefore it wouldn't make much of a difference, but I may be proven wrong. It's worth a try.
