Well i decided to OC my 9600xt and if i put it even like 15 above stock core and memory i get artifacts when i game or that. im kinda disspointed it has such low OC'ing capability i guess ill have go buy a new fan for it or something
Bone, in order to narrow down your bottleneck, just overclock the gpu or the memory at one time. That way you can tell if you need better cooling on the gpu or your memory is just not overclock-friendly or whatever. I'm betting that your memory on that vid card will overclock pretty decently but you are being held back by the stock cooling on the gpu. Also, you might try removing the hsf off the gpu and cleaning it and resetting it back on there using a thermal compound instead of the stock crap that's on there.
