It's really hard to tell without experimentation. Sixty four bit computing might allow the F@H program to address larger blocks of data in floating point space, increasing efficiency..But that could be total bull****, and me talking out of my ass. Sounds good, doesn't it? I'll leave it to someone else to confirm it.
In the real world, sixty-four bit apps are hit and miss; preliminary DiVX/XVID encoding is showing remarkable speed increases, whereas other apps don't flinch.
It doesnt help much and last I heard it was going to be awhile before they did release a 64-bit client because of the small increase and 2 because of the small need for it. IT has been awhile since I heard that though.
