getting paint off case?

Well im modding my case still and i was painting in some cornersin the drive bays and brush slippd and some paint went out and i tried wipe it off as quickyl as i could and i got most of it but theres a like faint but noticable red smear there now. any suggestions how i should take it off >_>...

    hrmmm >_> could it damage case its a like beige case and i dont want it like eating thru case or making a huge smell cause technically my parents dont know im modding case doing each piece at a time so they dont smell paint cause i dont know if they would be mad or not >_>

    The painter thinner is usually acetone, I believe. It has a strong, nasty smell, but shouldn't eat through anything. Just use very small amounts, and dilute it with a little bit of water if it makes you feel safer. Test it on a small area first to see if it causes any problems.

    Paint thinner is mineral spirits. Very different from Acetone. Both would probably work, but try using some of your Mother's fingernail polish remover. Use small amounts on a tissue or cloth until the spot is gone. Just be careful not to use too much or rub too hard. Good luck.

    Paint thinner will eat through some things, styrofoam, and PVC just for examples. It has also been know to crack certain type of acrylic.

    /me used to work in a sign shop....
