X800pro boot up problems

edited January 2005 in Hardware
Someone please help! I have an ASUS SK8N motherboard with an FX-53 processor, and I am having trouble with my X800pro AGP video card. I've hooked it up correctly and it boots to show the BIOS, but it restarts as soon as it goes into windows. I know it's not my setup because I've tried using other video cards and it works just fine. Someone please help.

Here's my setup:
ASUS SK8N mobo with ATHLON FX-53 CPU
ENERMAX CS800 with 465W power supply
512 Kingston Hyper X pc 3200 ddr ram
Sony SATA 200 Gig 7200 rpm hard drive
Maxtor 160 Gig ultra ata 7200 rpm hard drive

Boot into safe mode by pressing F9 during boot (I think it's F9, someone please correct me otherwise). If that works, then we are positive that it aint a hardware fault. All you have to do is uninstall ALL videocard drivers you ever had there, reboot and install the newest ones.
