From what I've read, it's the same thing as the 3500A (which is good) but with an increased RW speed. Go for it. Kinda sucks that I just bought a 3500A (still being delevered. Damn USPS) and this thing comes out and a dollar cheaper :shakehead

I just bought an LG GSA-4081B. I have had no problems with it, but I haven't tried to burn a DVD yet, only CD's. I can't remember but I think I got it on sale for about $180 CDN.

I'm about to buy the 3250A for my wife's computer. I've heard good things about it. I have a Liteon 832S in my case. I haven't had any problems with it.

The NEC ND-35x0 is the best burner there is. Period.
