GA-7N400 Pro2 CL Setting?

edited January 2005 in Hardware
Hi there,

I have a Gigabyte 7N400 Pro2 Rev.2 Mainboard with the nForce2 Ultra 400 chipset. I'm sad about it, that I cannot set the CL for my 2 x 256 MB original Infineon PC3200 / DDR400 RAM manually. I wanted to try CL2.5, but I only can adjust the FSB and the DIMM VCore. It was possible to set the CL manually with my old Gigabyte VTX-E board with the VIA KT266 chipset. Is there any way to do this with my actual board, too?
Would it bring really better performance, if I set the default CL3 of my DDR400 Infineons to CL2.5 and would the system be stable then?

You see, I'm trying to overclock and tune my system a bit.

Thankx for your help... ;)

You have the same board as me. Press Ctrl-F1 at the Bios menu and you should see the display flicker slighty. Go back into the same menu and you will find more 'advanced' and 'damaging' features. I had to look hard in my manual to find that out for myself aswell.
