Small Portable Computers

Hey i have recently picked up an interest in PDA's, Portable Laptops, and now i see they even have smaller full computers that are not much bigger than PDA's, i cant remember its name though, but i saw it in a pc magazine. I was wondering what is your guys suggestion on PDA's and portable laptops...i am on a budget and would mostly like it for movies and other useful things while i am on the run.
