edited January 2005 in Science & Tech
X-Bit Labs has the scoop about VIA's Pentium 4 chipset plans.
As for the Pentium 4 chipsets, the situation promises to turn really exciting in a couple of weeks, when VIA will be launching three new solutions: PT880 Pro (supporting both: AGP and PCI Express), PT894 and PT894 Pro. At the Consumer Electronics Show VIA was demonstrating a running reference platform based on PT894 solution supporting FSB 1066MHz, LGA775 Intel Pentium 4 processors, but using the same old VT8237 South Bridge.
