Reboot normally after doing the above, rescan with hijackthis, then post that log here please.
I cannot find any information on these files:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\wmptelc.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\dcomrror.dll
Please find them and right click on them. Choose Properties. Click the version tab and get the manufacturer and original filenames and versions please. Maybe that will give a clue.
p.s if found the 2 files at the bottom of your post should i delete them ??

C:\WINDOWS\System32\dcomrror.dll I just want info on for now. If they come up bad, they will be deleted.
To get into safe mode you need to tap f8 whilst booting your PC. You should be given an option to boot into safe mode. If not you will have to do it again and start tapping immediately you push the start button.
To locate the files, open Windows explorer and go to your C drive then to the relative folder where I have listed the malware. ie: for Windows serveAd you will go to C drive then Program Files then locate the folder there.
p.s ive also deleted the printer from the pc but when i plug it back in and it auto detects i then follow the steps to install the pc says cannot install due to not finding correct software . i also have to run a seperate driver for xp and ive deleted the old one and downloaded a new driver from the epson site but when i unzip it iy says the system file is not suitable for running ms dos / windows terminate etc
do you think i have a printer problem or pc problem is it worth running my printer software disc and reloading it im totally lost with this problem dont know what to do next

Try uninstalling the printer hardware then unplug the printer from the computer. Uninstall the software you use for it, then reboot. Depending on the manufacturers instructions, you should run the printer software disk, then follow the instructions from there.
Good luck
p.s ive tried to do a system restore again to a known ok date with no success any ideas why this is failing also
