GA7n pro2 (rev1) and Sata Problem
Hello everyone. I would like some help and advice on my situation. I have had the board for about a year now and the other day i started up my Pc and i thought to myself. strange, it seemed to get to the Windows Loading screen faster. On reboot i noticed that my SATA wasnt starting up (as in, not showing the usual info about my drives). Got into windows and my SATA drive wasnt there and it said it found new hardware.. im like o_O? Went thru to find the sata drivers and told them where they were. Winxp tells me it couldnt find any for my device. So i manually told it that it is a raid card and told it what to use and i got it telling me that it doesnt think they are correct for my device. to cut it short, they did install and they DO work. but i cant configure anything and to me it seems slugish at times.
Any ideas? I have reflushed the bios from the gigabyte site and from a modded one here, still nothing.
BTW: my windows is installed on IDE raid hard disk
