halo

edited January 2005 in Gaming
i have been playing some halo latly and i noticed that when i'm in a game it's alot harder to kill the host i have no idea why maybe because of lagg? idk...does anyone have ne toughts about this? i have also noticed that when i host i can kill people easyer. (i jus got off of halo because i was mad that i ran a guy over twice in a wart hog and still lived then killed me with a pistol while i had a full sheild and only one of my reg health missing) also the problem isnt that i jus suck eaither i have raped so many people at that game it's not even funny. i jus want to know if it's lag or if there are armour cheats out there or something like that.

yea the lag is caused by high ping. I think. next time you try to kill the host, check his ping.

Yup, the smaller the ping in video games, the higher advantage you have. I have Halo as well, and when you host, you always get a 0 ping, giving you a godly advantage compared to other people whose pings usually range over 100. Also, with a 0 ping, you have no lag, while other people encounter lag quite frequently.

Do you have to pay to play Halo?

There's no online monthly fee for Halo for PC -- just the price of the game.

Great- I have heard good things about HALO but I have this aversion to pay-to-play...don't know why, but I refuse to. WOW is and as much as this guy I work with raves about it, I won't cough up the cash.
