Hello All

Right

System as below

Windows XP Pro SP2

Thing is my Barton 2500 does not boot up in windows, I just get a BSOD about IRQL a lot of the time. When its at stock speed, or 3200 its fine. But for some reason it wont work at anything above that, and at 3200 it will randomly BSOD, sometimes after a few hours.

Ive done Memtest and its fine, but I did one of the other system tests and it does show an error, but I dont know how to find out what the error is, as my only option is to reboot.

Any help appreciated

Check your temps. Do you use the stock cooler or something better? If your temps aren't too high you may try raising vcore in the bios.

    Temps dont go above 45

Using an Aerocool HT-101 with a volcano 9 and a fan monitor but its definately not the temps because I can run tests in it, its just Windows wont load up :(

vcore again whatever I put it to it BSODs

    Didnt use to do this

    Thanks

Run memtest86+ before you do anything else.
