I was looking at the 'Post your "rate my cables" here' thread over at the [H] and the gallery forum over at silentpc.com to get ideas of a clean wiring job once I got my new case for a quiet rig with good airflow.

Well, show off your wiring origami skills. Let's see which SM member has the cleanest wiring job.

Well, here's my wiring job in my Antec SLK3700AMB. Spent a good few hours figuring how to cleanly wire my case and transfering my parts from my loud old case and changing mobos. It's a decent job. Used a lot of zip ties though and some electrical tape.

Here is a pic of my NF7 rig. I have a lot of time in it. I even cut mirrors for the floor of the case and the back behind the res. I think I am going to pull everything out and paint the inside of the case. I know the ps is pretty chezzy but it has been running rock solid for over a year.

I hope you guys like it

Yes it is a home made water block and res.

I dunno if this counts... but since I don't have a case right now - AND the idea is for my cables to be messy... wutever

    See? :D

    Good jobs guys!

Just a friendly advise though: install a HS on the SB.

    Cheers!

EQuito, would the heatsink stay on the southbridge with just silicon paste? Or must thermal adhesive be used?

Yeah, silicon paste once it hardens holds pretty good. I installed mine more than a year ago and I can move it but it won't fall.

Not exactly the neatest job in the world but by the time I was done I hurt too much to keep fighting with it.

I think I might try losing the split loom tubing and go from there at a later date.
