need some help, and totaly confused
Hey guys, i am a new member to the forums and was wondering if you could help me out with a problem. I first noteced it when my AIM (AOL instent mesanger) would shut down every time i opened a buddy window to send a message. also a RUNDLL error comes up now saying that winupd.dll modual canot be found.
I have read that some spyware programs called serch extender, home serch assistent, and shopping wizard are to blame. i canot simply remove them from the add/remove list and cant find them anywere elce.
I have run Spybot and Ad-Aware SE, but the ad-aware seems to remove somthing that then dosnt alow me to conect to the internet and i have to do a system restor jsut to get back to a funtional point.
everyone else seems to be using a hijackthis log, but i have no idea how to read it, what it means, or what to get rid of. and help will be greatly appriciated
