Restarting the Folder

I have 2 old (1.4 ghz - 1.6 ghz) pc's that I wanna set up for folding. Now, I have been part of "Team 93" for a while now, but all the folding I did went to hell, because for some reason my F@H program went nuts, and I quit trying b/c after having to battle it out with this program (I had set it as a startup program, so it would freeze my computer before I could close it, I was a newbie back then). If you'll click my F@H icon to the left, you'll see I'm the lowest ranked member on the team. :bawling:

So now I wanna set up my two older PCs to do folding, and every week I'll set them online to accumulate my points. Is this worth doing, or should I wait until I build a new PC in a month and do that one?

    I sure is worth it.

So you want them to download a few WUs and let them fold with no Internet connection?

Yeah, I'd reconnect them maybe once a week. I have a wired router that will let them do so, but since I have to share the internet connection w/ my dad (who has his own DSL modem in the front, which makes me have to turn mine off), I don't wanna leave them connected continuously.

And although I know having 2 DSL modems in the house that can't connect at the same time is inefficient, it's just how it is.

Yep thats what I was going to suggest. Make sure to say yes when asked for advanced options, yes to the deadline question and yes to the next one after that.
